is a microchip-based credit card-sized identification card issued to registered alien replacing the paper-based ACR. It has an embedded computer chip with biometric security features capable of data management and can be updated electronically. It is fraud and tamper-proof/resistant with the following data:
- Personal information such as name, age, date of birth, place of birth, etc.
- Photograph
- Date and status of admission
- Visa type granted/date granted/date issued/expiry date
- Biometric information (2 digitalized fingerprint templates)
- Signature
- ACR and ICR/NBCR/CRTV/CRTT/CRTS and CRPE numbers
- Travel details
- Payment of immigration fees details
The ACR I-Card likewise serves as the Emigration Clearance Certificate (ECC), Re-entry Permit (RP) and Special Return Certificate (SRC) of the holder upon payment of the required fees.
All foreign nationals should apply for an I-card.
- Series G -status - I card valid for 5 years.
- Series 9 status - will be co-terminus with their status.
Requirements:
- Duly filled-up ACR-I card Application form. Item not applicable should be marked N/A.
- Alien Certificate of Registration - Original and 1 photocopy. You should provide your personal copy
- Certificate of Residence - Photocopy of (ICR/NBCR/CRPE/CRTT/CRTV/CRTS/). For NBCR holders, an additional requirement of an Original NSO certified birth certificate.
- Passport - Photocopy of the Data Page, Visa Implementation Page, and Latest arrival stamp page.
- For holders of a special return Certificate (SRC)/Re-entry - (RP): Photocopy of the front and back page.
- For holders of Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) and Republic Act (RA 7919 Visa; Photocopy of the Order granting the visa issued by the board of Commissioners. original NSO certified Marriage contract and SECPA.
